Description

This solicitation is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Design-Build contract to be awarded about 15 August 2005. The project involves construction of a Combat Arms Branch School to be used for combat training of Iraq i solders. The complex will be a fenced facility consisting of the following buildings: HQ, Branch School, Student and Staff Billeting, Laundry, DFAC and Kitchen, Cold and Dry Storage, Armory, Central Issuing, Training Equipment Storage, Guard Towers, Guar d Shack with Drop Arm Gate, Vehicle Maintenance, and Fueling Station. In addition to the buildings there will be site improvements consisting of gravel roads, parking with sunshade structures, sidewalks, soccer field with sunshade bleachers, fencing, berms , generators to produce electricity, water and sewage storage tanks. The solicitation will be placed on the Iraqi Business Center website at http://www.iraqibusinesscenter.org .
