- This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Soliciation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Solicitation Issue date is on or about 08/08/05, with the Response date on or around 09/09/05. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Reference number: IQC05104009002. NSN: 5930-01-161-8189. THIS IS A NAVY IDENTIFIED CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM(CSI). Nomenclature: SWITCH, PRESSURE. Approved sources: Eaton Corporation (02750) P/N 6607-2-110, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation(78286) P/N 70652-02451-135, Spectrum Associates Inc. (55723) P/N 2335-35. An Indefinite Quantity Contract (365 days basic with four 365 day option periods) is anticipated. Total 5 year estimated quantity is 960 each. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. Deliveries will be to various DLA customers and/or stocking locations. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. NOTE: THE CITED DRAWING IS A SOURCE CONTROLLED DRAWING AND AS OF THE DATE OF THIS SOLICITATION ONLY THE SOURCE(S) CITED ON THE DRAWING HAVE BEEN APPROVED. EVEN THOUGH SOURCES AND APPROVED PART NUMBERS ARE PROVIDED, THE ITEMS FURNISHED MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITED DRAWING. OFFERORS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN QUALIFYING THEIR PRODUCT FOR PURPOSE OF FUTURE ACQUISITION MUST CONTACT THE COGNIZANT DESIGN ACTIVITY SPECIFIED ON THE SOURCE CONTROLLED DRAWING. ALSO, MAY INCLUDE ADDITIONAL APPROVED SOURCES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN REFLECTED ON THE DRAWING AT THIS TIME. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
