Description
The project will consist of additions and alterations to the existing USAR Training Center at Jachman ARC USAR Training Center, Owings Mills, MD with a troop strength of 511 soldiers. The project includes repairs of failed or failing electrical serv ice, IT/Telecom, plumbing, and mechanical systems, vinyl composite tile flooring, carpeting in office areas, suspended ceilings with energy efficient florescent light fixtures, gypsum wall finishes, repair of restrooms, doors, windows and interior signage. Repairs also include replacing the windows and doors, reconfiguring the building entrance and replacing the central HVAC system. Site work consists of repairing failed or failing privately owned vehicle (POV) parking areas, security fencing, building and site security lighting, and landscaping main entrance. Site work also includes repairing of the failed or failing storm water system, main water lines and sewage utility lines. Similar renovations will also be performed on the Operations and Maintenance Shop. Additions to the USARC include a classroom building and unit storage building. This project is available on compact disk only. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Ado be Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 486- based personal computer, Microsoft W indows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive. This project is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Award will be based on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable. Evaluation factors are listed in order of precedence as follows: Past Experience, Past Performance,Technical Approach, and Project Management. NAICS code is 23622 0. Approximate issue date is 27 July 2005. Approximate proposal due date is 25 August 2005.
