Description
Correction: This action published in the FBO on 21 June 2005 is amended as follows: Evaluation Factor 1 is replaced in its entirety by the following: 1. Specialized Experience: Firms and consultants (if proposed) will be evaluated in terms of their recent experience (last 5 years) in performing environmental services associated with client compliance with Drinking Water regulations and Air Emissions laws and regulations. Specialized experience is required in water quality evaluations, compliance, condition and vulnerability assessments (including potable waters; membrane technology for treating potable water, watershed and aquifer studies, hydraulic modeling, and pilot-treatability studies, corrosion control studies, Cross Connection and Backflow Prevention Surveys, development of Drinking Water Management Action Plans (this plan is a working reference guide to assist personnel in complying with monitoring, sampling, reporting, management and other water compliance requirements specified in the FGS), mapping of distribution systems, wellhead protection assessments; air emission inventories; air permitting; air dispersion modeling; stack testing and air emission control equipment evaluation and design. Demonstrated expertise with regulatory aspects of SDWA, CAA and overseas drinking water and air pollution standards and regulations are required. All other information remains unchanged.
