Description
NAICS Code: 541620 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Change Division (CCD) in Washington, DC intends to award a Purchase Order to The Energy Resources Institute (TERI) of New Delhi, India under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this purchase order is to facilitate preparation of a corporate inventory of an Indian cement company and preparation of the thermal power sector air emissions calculation tool for India. Under this purchase order TERI will facilitate implementation of the customized tool at the corporate level of a leading manufacturer of cement in India, disseminate the developed tool among key stakeholders in the cement sector, and prepare a calculations tool and guidance document for the thermal power sector in India.. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541620. NO SOLICITATIONS OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that TERI is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as TERI developed the 1st edition of the customized cement sector tool for the Indian cement industry . Further, TERI has the unique capabilities to perform this work as they were the creators of the customized cement sector tool. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to posting must be in writing and submitted to Denise Roberson, Contract Specialist at roberson.denise@epa.gov. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
