Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Baltimore Sound Engineering, Inc., 6308 Blair Hill Lane, Baltimore, MD, 21209 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source for a Public Address system. The Public Address system shall tie in with SSA?s existing main Public Address system console. The Vendor (Baltimore Sound Engineering, Inc.) owns all proprietary rights to the Public Address system?s source code and is the only responsible source able to meet the requirement. Other organizations possessing the requisite expertise and resources are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and other pertinent data. Pricing data may be submitted. This is not a request for quotation and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of information received. If SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing the Public Address system, SSA shall issue a Purchase Order to Baltimore Sound Engineering, Inc. Responses to this notice should be submitted by July 21, 2005. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Email your interest to stephanie.gardner@ssa.gov.
