Description

The purpose of this amendment is to correct an answer to a question previously posted and provide answers to additional vendor questions. The previuos question was: Are the breakers electrically or manually operated? The FBI incorrectly answered: The breakers are manually operated with electrical charging motors. The correct answer is simply: The breakers are manually operated. Additional questions were asked by a vendor. Those questions and the answers provided are posted herein: Question 1) What is the CONTROL VOLTAGE? Answer 1) All Switches/Breakers attach to a 480/277 Buss. Question 2) What is the expected WARRANTY PERIOD? Answer 2) The FBI does not have an expected period for the Warranty other than what is normal in commercial practices. It is anticipated vendors will offer different warranties. The proposed warranty will be evaluated toward a best value decision in the FBI's selection process. Question 3) Are the breakers "LONG TIME", "SHORT TIME", "INSTANTANEOUS", or ALL OF THE ABOVE? Answer 3) ALL OF THE ABOVE. Question 4) Are FUSES to be included? Answer 4) No. Question 5) Since some are solid state in regards to communications, do they have to match "ALL PRO"? Answer 5) No. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-JUL-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
