- THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD ENGINEERING LOGISTICS CENTER HAS A REQUIREMENT FOR NSN: 4730-01-173-1413, STRAINER SEDIMENT, MFG NAME: THE KRAISSL CO INC . PART NUMBER: 72-48F. QTY: 16 EACH . FOB DESTINATION, USCG ENGINEERING LOGISTICS CENTER, RECEIVING ROOM, BLDG #88, 2401 HAWKINS POINT ROAD, BALTIMORE, MD 21226. IT IS THE GOVERNMENTS BELIEF THAT ONLY THE KRAISSL CO INC OR THEIR AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS CAN SUPPLY THESE STRAINER SEDIMENTS. ALL INTERESTED SOURCES THAT POSSESS THE CAPABILITIES OF OBTAINING THE REQUIRED TECHNICAL ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING DATA FROM THE KRAISSL CO INC AND POSSES THE CAPABILITIES TO SUPPLY THESE STRAINER SEDIMENTS CAN SUBMIT INFORMATION REGARDING CAPABILITIES. THIS INFORMATION MUST INCLUDE (1) COMPLETE AND CURRENT ENGINEERING DATA TO DEMONSTRATE THE ACCEPTABILITY OF THE OFFERED PARTS (I.E. SALIENT PHYSICAL, FUNCTIONAL AND SERVICEABILITY CHARACTERISTICS). (2) DATA THAT OFFERED PARTS HAVE BEEN SATISFACTORILY OVERHAULED FOR THE GOVERNMENT OR THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER. CONCERNS THAT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE MUST FULLY DEMONSTRATE THE CAPABILITY TO ACCOMPLISH THE ABOVE AND ARE TO SUPPLY PERTINENT INFORMATION IN SUFFICIENT DETAIL TO DEMONSTRATE A BONA FIDE CAPABILITY TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS.
