Description
THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD ENGINEERING LOGISTICS CENTER HAS A REQUIREMENT FOR NSN: 4730-01-173-1413, STRAINER SEDIMENT, MFG NAME: THE KRAISSL CO INC . PART NUMBER: 72-48F. QTY: 16 EACH . FOB DESTINATION, USCG ENGINEERING LOGISTICS CENTER, RECEIVING ROOM, BLDG #88, 2401 HAWKINS POINT ROAD, BALTIMORE, MD 21226. IT IS THE GOVERNMENTS BELIEF THAT ONLY THE KRAISSL CO INC OR THEIR AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS CAN SUPPLY THESE STRAINER SEDIMENTS. ALL INTERESTED SOURCES THAT POSSESS THE CAPABILITIES OF OBTAINING THE REQUIRED TECHNICAL ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING DATA FROM THE KRAISSL CO INC AND POSSES THE CAPABILITIES TO SUPPLY THESE STRAINER SEDIMENTS CAN SUBMIT INFORMATION REGARDING CAPABILITIES. THIS INFORMATION MUST INCLUDE (1) COMPLETE AND CURRENT ENGINEERING DATA TO DEMONSTRATE THE ACCEPTABILITY OF THE OFFERED PARTS (I.E. SALIENT PHYSICAL, FUNCTIONAL AND SERVICEABILITY CHARACTERISTICS). (2) DATA THAT OFFERED PARTS HAVE BEEN SATISFACTORILY OVERHAULED FOR THE GOVERNMENT OR THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER. CONCERNS THAT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE MUST FULLY DEMONSTRATE THE CAPABILITY TO ACCOMPLISH THE ABOVE AND ARE TO SUPPLY PERTINENT INFORMATION IN SUFFICIENT DETAIL TO DEMONSTRATE A BONA FIDE CAPABILITY TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS. REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) HSCG40-05-Q-50179 SHALL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD FROM FEDBIZOPPS (WWW.EPS.GOV <http://WWW.EPS.GOV>) ON OR ABOUT JULY 12TH, 2005. IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO MONITOR THE EPS SYSTEMS FOR CHANGES OR AMENDMENTS TO THE QUOTATION. NOTE: IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR CAS 2002-24, FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR (FAC) 2001-26 AND FAR SUBPART 4.12 ANNUAL REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS THE USE OF ORCA WILL BECOME MANDATORY AS OF JANUARY 1ST, 2005. ORCA IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE BUSINESS PARTNER NETWORK (BPN) at. CONTRACTORS WILL USE ORCA TO ELECTRONICALLY SUBMIT ANNUAL REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATION (REPS & CERTS). CONTRACTORS WILL NO LONGER BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT HARD COPIES OF THEIR REPS & CERTS WITH EACH PROPOSAL. FOR CONTRACTORS TO BE ABLE TO UPLOAD THEIR REPS & CERTS TO ORCA, THEY MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) RECORD AND A MARKING PARTNER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (MPIN).
