Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Foray Technologies, for the purchase of "More Hits" Integrated Digital Imaging System for Fingerprint/Photographic Program. "More Hits" System must consist of the following components in the quantity of one (1) for each of the components: Digital Workstation Subsystem,Software, More Hits Support Software, Image Acquisition SubSystem, Digital Camera, Scanner Acquisition, Digital Workstation Subsystem, Software, More Hits Support Software, Output Subsystems, Image Acquistiion and Enhancement System, Image Acquisition Subsystem Digital Camera, Digital Workstation Subsystem, Software and More Hits Support Software. This "More Hits" System should be shipped and installed at the DEA Southeast Laboratory, 5205 NW 8th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33166. Thre proposed purchase order is for equipment/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Foray Technologies under authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1)as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified, and approved for Foray Technologies. The NAICS Code is 334111. The small business size is 1,000. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334111, "Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing". The Government anticipates the award on a firm fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. All respondents will be considered by this agency. All communication concerning this announcement must be in writing and received by 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, no later than 7 calender days after the publication date of this notice to the Contract Specialist listed below. No solicitation is available. Closing date is July 27, 2005.
