- Description: Renovate 9th Floor Hematology/Oncology Clinic at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Hines, Illinois. This requirement is an 8(a) competitive set-aside. It is determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms located in the State of Illinois. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The SBA, Chicago District Office shall provide the VA a list of all qualified Illinois firms, for participation in this procurement process. Renovate 9th Floor Hematology/Oncology Clinic, Bldg. #200 at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Hines Illinois. The 9th Floor will be renovated to accommodate inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinics and involved the renovation of approximately 21,240 sq.ft. of space. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, new acoustic ceiling grids, light fixtures, floor preparation for carpeting, electrical, computer data, and mechanical modifications as outlined in the solicitation documents. The completion date is 365 days from Notice to Proceed. Cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAIC code is 236220. Issue date is on or about July 22, 2005.
