Description
The USAF has a requirement for the Clamp, Loop applicable to the F100/200/220 Engine for the F15/F16 aircraft. NSN: 5340-01-340-5201NZ; P/N: ST1540-12; QTY: 11887; U/I: EA; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: approximately 1?x 1?x 1? FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Loop Clamps holds a 12 mm wire or cable in position. PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Stainless steel with a rubber composite. DELIVERY: 11887 each by December 2005; DELIVER TO: Tinker AFB, OK. A solicitation will not be issued or posted to FEDBIZOPS unless one is Requested as a result of this synopsis. Anticipated award date: 29 Jul 05. A firm-fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures is anticipated. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards.
