- As a valuable part of the industry-government team providing ICBM deterrent capabilities to the nation, AFSPC invites industry leaders with interests in our nation?s ICBMs to attend a Deterrence and Strike Strategy workshop on July 19th from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Peterson AFB Colorado Officer?s Club. The workshop provides an opportunity for industry to hear AFSPC plans for future strategic deterrence and strike efforts as it pertains to Land-Based Strategic Deterrent, Prompt Global Strike, Conventional Ballistic Missile, and the integrated family of boosters. AFSPC will provide briefings to stimulate breakout session discussions. During the breakout sessions senior military and industry leaders will discuss this critical issue and answer a series of questions about the proposed strategies and hurdles to delivering capabilities in the 2020 timeframe. The results of the breakout sessions will be presented after lunch. The cost of refreshments and lunch is $20. Seating is limited.
