- Description
- This project will provide a CACTF for training battalion task force on STX and in developing training plans. The facilities include mock modern urban style buildings with interior target pits, streets, underground storm drainage network, and other fe atures to simulate an urban setting. The primary training facilities will have cameras to allow for video monitoring. Included in the CACTF are: one-story office buildings; 1 two-story office building; 1 three-story hotel (with basement); 1 three-story em bassy (with basement); 1 two-story police office with holding cells; 2 one-story warehouses; 1 one-story range operations control room and after action review building; 1 dual sex vault latrine; 1 open air market/mess hall; 2 camera towers; 1 one-story amm o breakdown buildings; 1 one-story bank building; and 1 underground trainer connecting the embassy and hotel. Facilities to support the actual range training facility include: a modified Range Operations Center/After Action Review (AAR) Building with well and restroom, a standard Covered Mess facility , a standard Ammunition Breakdown Building, a standard Dual Sex Vault Latrine, and graveled parking areas. The Covered Mess facility will be located within the playbox, so that it can double as an open air market. The CACTF is located in the north-western portion of Fort A.P. Hill near the intersection of Windsor Drive and Woodford Road. The site is approximately 1.5 miles north of Jackson Camp. The construction duration is 365 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The receipt date for bids is September 1, 2005. THIS IS A SERVICE DISABLED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT. NAICS CODE 236220 appli es to this procurement.
