- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, NNSY Maritime Industrial Branch, intends to procure on a sole source basis with Caldwell & Gregory for Maytag commercial washer/dryer stacked combination units. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 utilizing the format set forth in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation. A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The applicable solicitation number for the Request for Quotation is N00181-05-Q-0308. The applicable NAICS code is 333312 with a size standard of 500 employees. All deliverables to be FOB Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Attention: Receiving Officer, Bldg. 276, Portsmouth, Virginia 23709-5000, Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. FISC, NNSY Annex, anticipates issuing a firm fixed-price contract for the following: Item 0001: washer/dryer stacked combination unit, Maytag Commercial Neptune Model #MLE19PN, overall size shall not exceed 27- 3/16? Wide x 29? Deep x 71 ?1/2? High, Qty: 27 Each. WASHER SPECIFICATIONS: 1). Power: 120V, 60 HZ 2). MAX Amp Draw: 7 Amps 3). Capacity: 2.9 CU/FT 4). Spin Speed: 800 RPM 5). Hot Water Cycle: 5 Gal. 6). Warm Water Cycle: 2.5 Gal 7). Overall Water: 18 ? 21 Gal DRYER SPECIFICATIONS: 1). Power: 240V, 60 HZ 2). Drum Speed: 50 RPM 3). MAX Amp Draw: 24 Amps 4). Approx. Dryer Draw: 5900 Watts 5). Approx. Overall Draw: 6300 Watts 6). Energy Use: 4.0 KW/Per Load 7). Air Flow: 220 CU/FT/MIN (Rear Exhaust) 8).
