Description
Solicitation number SP0406-05-R-3351, RPG05158000732, NSN 8140-01-357-6389, Crate, Security Pallet, Ammunition. Unit quantity is 1 each. Solicitation is for a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, full and open competition and will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract for 350 each with a 100% option. This NSN is procured as fully competitive in accordance with a military/federal specifications/standards and/or voluntary industry standards. Direct access to defense and federal specifications, standards, and related standardization documents is available on the Internet via http://assist.dapsmil or http://www.dodssp.daps.mil. An ?Export Control? technical data package (TDP) exists for this NSN. See the item description for details on how to request export control technical data and to become certified to receive such data. Government First Article inspection/testing required. Production lot testing required. FOB Destination with Inspection & Acceptance Origin. QAP 002 applies. Delivery for First Article Test (FAT) Samples is 60 days. Testing and Evaluation will be 45 days. Delivery for Production Lot Testing Samples is another 60 day, with Testing and Evaluation being 45 days. Requested delivery (after FAT approval and production lot testing) is 128 DARO with delivery to SNG, New Cumberland, PA and to AQ5, Tracy, CA. Total Requested Delivery including FAT, Production Lot Testing, and delivery 0f 350 EA will be 338 days. Quantity variance is Plus 0%, Minus 0%. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on 03 August 2005, with a closing date of 03 September 2005.
