- Contractor will supply all labor, material, equipment, and supervision for the replacement of approximately 90 linear feet of 4 inch sanitary pipe and the installation of a sewer pump ejector pump station in the basement of the Ambulatory Care Building. Work includes moving desks, file cabinets, and other office furniture in order to gain access to the pipe. Vinyl composition tile, concrete floor or slab and flowable fill must be removed in order to gain access to remove existing sanitary pipe. The new sanitary pipe must be pitched and place on a compacted sand bed and then covered with appropriate backfill. Contract includes stringent dust control measures to conform to "Class 3" infection control standards. Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Contract is open to full and open competition. NAICS Code 236220 applies (size standard is $23 million). The estimated construction price range is between $100K and $250K. Plans and specifications will be issued on or about August 1, 2005. Bid Opening date is scheduled for August 31, 2005 at 10 A.M. The date and time of the site-visit will be noted in the solicitation. Vendors are required to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov to be considered for award. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award.
