Description

The intent of this solicitation is to solicit for engineering services in support of USAF requirements. Engineering assistance is needed to familiarize system support personnel at the 36 EWS, Eglin AFB FL with the operational capabilities and performance parameters of the Expert Editor software package. The contractor will also be required to document system operational specifications not currently documented elsewhere. It is also anticipated that an option will be included to provide for on call engineering assistance to help 542EWSG/ENRT with the resolution of hardware, software and integration issues and problems with the AN/ALR-56M receiver system. This on call assistance shall be from the contractor's facility with travel as required. The term of this effort is not expected to exceed 6 months. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit sole source from BAE Systems Information and Electronic Warefare Systems (CAGE Code: 81413), 1 Ridge Hill Rd, Yonkers NY, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
