Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consti tutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-05-Q-0031 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is unrestricted due to limited produc tion of speciality pipe for water supply systems. The associated NAICS code is 326122 with a size standard of 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or e lectronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of quote(s) by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a quotation to include all p ricing, shipping costs, and estimated delivery timeframe after receipt of order. The requirement is for NEW PARTS AS FOLLOWS FOR NON-POTABLE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM ON DREDGE: 6 EA HDPE Pipe, 50 foot long sections, 36 OUTSIDE diameter, extra high molecular w eight, high density polyethylene pipe, PE 3408, SDR 17, IPS (total of 300 feet); 8 EA Flange Adapters, 36 OUTSIDE diameter, extra high molecular weight, high density polyethylene, PE 3408, SDR 17, Machined Flange Adapters (for above pipe); 8 EA Back-Up Ri ngs, 36 INSIDE diameter, convoluted ductile iron back-up rings (for above pipe). Pipe order will be delivered to US Army Corps of Engineers, ATTN: Dredge Hurley, 2915 Riverport Road, Memphis, TN 38109 on or before 10 August 2005. Contractor shall submit completed clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications, Commercial Items. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award.
