Description

5 SPRINGS FALL CAMPGROUND ROADWORK: The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to complete roadwork at 5 Springs Fall Campground, in accordance with the specifications in the forthcoming Solicitation. The contract work shall include, but is not limited to the following types of work: 1) Hot bituminous concrete; 2) Aggregate base course; 3) Pothole repair; 4) Tack coating; 5) Crack cleaning & sealing and 6) Installation of cattle guard assemblies. The estimated price range for this contract is between $275,000 and $800,000. The NAICS code for this work is 237310 and the Period of Performance is 300 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. Bonding will be required as follows: 1) Bid Bond at 20% of the bid price; 2) Payment Bond at 100% of the contract price; 3) Performance Bond at 100% of the contract price. This requirement is a Total HUBZone Set-Aside. The Solicitation will be available by electronic posting only at www.fbo.gov on or about August 2, 2005. Contractors shall print and completely fill out the bid documents at www.fbo.gov for submission of their bids. In order to receive a contract award, contractors shall register or update their information in the Central Contractor Registration system at www.ccr.gov.
