Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center, La Crosse, WI has a requirement to make a competitive award via written request for quotation No. 05ERQQ0057. Per the attached drawings and specification, two separately priced items are required. (1) The demolition and disposal of approximately 750 square feet of stucco soffit, modification of the flashing on the corridor windows above the soffit to allow proper drainage and installation of approximately 750 square feet of soffit using STO Corp exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) E100 or approved equal. (2) Replacement of the upper level corridor windows (20) with low E (insulated and tinted) glass. Responses shall include (1) at least three verifiable references of good past performance on projects of similar size and complexity within the past three years; (2) proof of location within 60-mile radius; and (3) Wisconsin General Contractors license number. Upon receipt of this information and verification of past performance, qualified respondents will be invited to attend a site visit, which is scheduled for Friday, July 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. All qualified respondents shall notify Mr. Benton by e-mail abenton@usgs.gov of their intentions to attend site visit. Drawings for this project can be obtained from the RFQ, 05ERQQ0057. Selection will be made on a best value basis THIS AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES.
