Description
This is not an RFP, but a survey to locate potential sources capable of performing the proposed services. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has the requirement for bus and van transportation services for the Tucson Border Patrol Sector?s area of operation. This area of operation includes but is not limited to the following locations: Ajo Border Patrol Station, Nogales Border Patrol Station, Casa Grande Border Patrol Station, Tucson Border Patrol Station, Law Enforcement Center (located 3 miles north from the International border), Tucson Detention Center and Sells, AZ. The contractor will be required to transport and provide security for up to 2,500 foreign nationals (criminal, non-criminal, male, female and minors) 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Transportation will be from Border Patrol (BP) stations or designated boarding sites to border patrol stations, processing sites, ports of entry and/or any other designated sites deemed necessary by CBP. The contractor personnel providing transportation services, shall meet the following requirements: (1) Legal resident of the United States; (2) Current background and/or security investigation; (3) Must not have felony convictions or any sex crime related convictions; (4) Pre-employment drug screening; (5) Designated and/or continued random drug testing during employment; (6) Trained and licensed to carry and use firearms in the State of Arizona; and (7) Understand and speak Spanish. There will be no deviations from these requirements. Firms capable of meeting these requirements are invited to submit complete information to the procuring office identified in this notice in three (3) copies within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this notice. Information furnished should include past performance experience (scope and nature) related to this requirement and specific information that demonstrates the ability to meet the requirements listed above. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and the government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents for information submitted. Based upon responses received, the Government reserves the right to set aside any and/or all procurements that may result hereunder for small or minority-owned businesses.
