Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture proposes to install a dehumidification unit in building B018. This building is a 300 square feet room with a 10 feet ceiling. This building contains a fume hood that exhausts 1180 CFM and will run 24/7. This unit must comply with the following specifications: shall be capable of keeping the relative humidity in a range between 50 to 60% with a supply plenum of air at a temperature of 70 degrees F, the unit shall have a balance damper in the supply/makeup air ducts to insure that the required amount of air is discharged into the building. The unit shall be installed at the USDA, ARS, Baton Rouge, LA. An IFB with complete specification requirements will be issued on or about August 3, 2005 with all bids being due at 2:00 p.m. September 2, 2005. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the IFB package. All requests must be submitted in writing, faxed to (662) 686-5373 or by electronic mail to: tvjones@ars.usda.gov.
