*****ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE IN FBO JULY 25, 2005******** Work includes mobilization of all necessary equipment to repair pavement slumps, cut and disposal of existing asphalt, excavation and disposal of excess fill material, installation of geocomposite underdrain system, placement of aggregate and geogrid, reconstruction of fill, placement of hot asphalt concrete mixture, removal of existing culvert and installation of new culvert and outlet pipe with necessary anchors, elbow and dissipator and sealing of existing cracks. Start work is approximately August 23, 2005. Contract performance time is 90 days. For additional information contact Leo Robb at (541)782-5255. Work will be located on the Middle Fork Ranger District, Willamette National Forest. Watershed Restoration ("JOBS IN THE WOODS") Notice Competition for this project is being limited to the "affected areas" (i.e., counties) identified pursuant to the waiver of Full and Open Competition approved by the Secretary of Agriculture under 41 USC 253(c)(7), Public Interest. Therefore, award of this contract will be restricted to those firms or individuals who are located in an affected area. The affected areas are: Washington: Okanogan, Douglas, Chelan, Kititas, Yakima, Klickitat, Skamania, Clark, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Pacific, Lewis, Pierce, Thurston, Grays Harbor, Mason, Jefferson, Clallam, Kitsap, Island, San Juan, King, Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom; Oregon: Wasco, Jefferson, Deschutes, Lake, Klamath, Jackson, Josephine, Curry, Coos, Douglas, Lane, Linn, Benton, Lincoln, Marion, Yamhill, Polk, Clackamas, Multnomah, Hood River, Tillamook, Washington, Columbia, and Clatsop; California: Siskiyou, Shasta, Tehama, Glenn, Lake, Trinity, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Mendocino.
