Description

This contract consists of reforestation work to be accomplished on Barksdale AFB (BAFB) in Forest Units 74 and 75. The contractor shall purchase and supply 1-0 bareroot bottomland hardwood seedlings and plant (151 ac) acres. All seedlings must be certified as species listed. The site will consist of a recent clearcut which has been burnt and mechanically bedded as part of an overall site preparation plan. (See Statement of Work for Details) The contractor operations shall be in accordance with LA Forestry Best Management Practices. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside under NAICS Code 115310 with a business size of $6,000,000.00. If the small business set-aside is dissolved for full and open competition, the requirement will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System. See solicitation document to complete Request For Quote package. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued.
