- The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 6.3, Other Than Full and Open Competition, to BOC Edwards, 301 Ballardvale Street, Wilmington MA 01887. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 339111. The following items will be procured: CLIN 0001, One (1) each, GV160/EH500 Dry Pumping System including a GV160 3 Stage Mechanical Dry Pump, EH500 Mechanical Booster Pump, Shaft Seal Purge Module and necessary accessories. Systems Specifications: Total Pumping Speed with Booster: ?? 300 cfm, Vacuum Level: < 5e-2 Torr, Noise Level: < 80 dB, Electrical Requirements: 460 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz, Purge Module: Compressed Dry Air, Water Cooled; Compatibility: Existing Stealth Pump system. CLIN 0002, Shipping and Handling. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government??s requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is 25 Jul 2005. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:30 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, 22 Jul 2005. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
