- Description
- The U. S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, on behalf of US AirForce, Hill AFB, intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Kaiser Electro-Optics a Rockwell Collins Company. Specifically, USAF one Kaiser EyeHUD HMD simulation Helmet with Intersense IS900 HTS system. The helmet is compatible with existing video equipment, and the view of the projected video on the dome requires that the helmet view be transparent. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 4:30 p.m. EST July 24, 2005 will be considered by the Government. The anticipated award date is July 25, 2005.
