Description
The Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Science Coordination and Policy, is soliciting proposals to provide technical support services to fulfill the requirements of the Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program (EDSP). The objectives are to (1) operate a chemical repository; (2) maintain a data coordination center; (3) maintain a quality assurance/quality control management system; and (4) assist in the review of pre-validation and validation studies. One contract is anticipated to result from the Request For Proposals (RFP). The contract will be a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type with one (1) 12-month base period of performance and four (4) 12-month option periods of performance for an estimated total of 45,210 hours (basic quantity per each 12-month period of performance is as follows: Base period, 11,000; Option I, 11,000; Option II, 10,450; Option III, 6,380; and Option IV, 6,380) and 12,500 hours of optional quantity (total optional quantity of 2,500 per each 12-month period of performance). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this effort is 541710. It is anticipated the solicitation will be released on or about August 2, 2005. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days following the issuance of the solicitation. The solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW), amendments (if any), and other related information will be available via the Internet at http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/oppts_grp/endocrine/index.htm . Prospective offerors are to monitor the Internet for the status of this solicitation and shall download the solicitation from the Internet as hardcopies of the solicitation will not be provided.
