Description
This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. This acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code for the requirement is 334516. The size standard is 500 employees or less. The Center for Domestic Preparedness has a requirement for GAS CHROMATOGRAPH. Items are as follows: (Brand Name or Equal) / (equal needs to be compatible with Perkin Elmer) CLIN 001 M0413603 - TURBOMATRIX THERMAL DESORBER 120V Selection M0413324 Base Unit M0413336 Automated Therm Des Automated Thermal Desorber - Provides analytical capabilities equal to entry-level model along with an automated sample tube handling system for unattended decapping, analysis and recapping to up to 50 tubes. Tubes are capped at all times while in the sample tray. Overlaps desorption / preconcentration with GC analysis for higher productivity. Includes BCD output communication capabilities and timed event relays for timed control of external devices. M0413360 Manual Pneumatics Manual Pneumatic Control - Provides carrier gas pressure control via a precision pressure regulation valve. Split flow rates and primary desorption flow rates are controlled using precision needle valves. Pressure monitoring is accomplished with an electronic pressure sensor with pressure display provided on the user interface screen. M0413306 - LONG HEATED LINE Long Heated Transfer Line - (1800mm) for operation up to 300/C. 09991420 - Power Cord USA/CA M0413564 - Liquid Nitrogen Cool Liquid Nitrogen Cooling - For operation of the cold trap to - 100/C. Requires, but does not include the options board when added to entry level thermal desorber. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technical acceptability of item offered to meet Government requirement and (2) Price and price related factors. Inquiries and information received after the established deadline shall not be considered for this particular acquisition. Pursuant to the Brand Name or Equal clause; the offeror must provide descriptive literature of item being offered. Equal will be evaluated based on the information furnished by the offeror.
