Description

Zion National Park, Phase 1 Construction of Research & Museum Collection Facility This is a presolicitation notice only. Zion National Park Service intends to acquire all labor, supplies, materials necessary to construct phase one for the research and museum collection facility consisting of the following items. 1. Demolition of the existing suspended plaster ceiling. 2. Saw cutting and demolition of parts of the concrete floor for footings, elevator pit, plumbing, and mechanical system. 3. Erecting columns and constructing a floor with wood TJLs thereby creating two floors within the previous exhibit space. 4. Plumbing rough-in for two sinks. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 to $100,000 for this phase. The project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, it is open to both small and large business. Interested bidders will find electronic posting of the Synopsis, drawings, specifications at the following website: http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about August 15th, 2005.
