Description

THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The project consists of renovating the existing parking lot and boat ramp known as Torrey?s Hole. The major portion of work includes removing an existing vault toilet, log fence, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and portions of the existing concrete boat ramp. The new construction includes the installation of a vault toilet, wood pole fence and steel entry gate, signs, concrete sidewalk and stairs, and concrete curb and gutter. The existing boat ramp shall be expanded in width and length and shall be attached to a concrete unloading/tie-up ramp section. Lastly, the parking lot shall be chip sealed and striped. The project is located in Section 29 of Range 16 East, Township 11 North, on the Sawtooth National Forest Recreation Area District. The project site can be reached by traveling from Challis, Idaho or Stanley, Idaho, on State Highway 75. The project site is located on the Salmon River, approximately 20 miles east of Stanley, Idaho or approximately 38 miles west of Challis, Idaho. NAICS code: 237990. Size Standard: $28.5 Million. Estimated Price Range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated start date: 5/01/2006 with 107 calendar days for completion. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
