- JEEP RUBICON: The USDA Forest Service, Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest intends to procure a new 2004/2005 Jeep Rubicon or equal for the Naches Ranger District ORV program. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is AG-05GG-S-05-0002 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336111 size standard of employees is 1,000 or less. Specifications include a 4.0 L Power Tech I-6 engine, Quadra-coil suspension, Tru-Lock front and rear locking differentials, Dana 44 front and rear solid axles, 4.11:1 Axle Ratio, Rock-Track, NV2410R transfer case/w skid plate, 31 in. Goodyear MT/R off-road tires, Full Size spare tire, 16 in. Moab cast-aluminum wheels, Four Wheel disc brakes, Frame mounted body sill guards, Front and Rear body-mounted tow hooks, Dual top (hardtop and soft top), Center console, Tow package, Air Condition, Overall length- 156.1 in, Overall width-62.2 in, Track width- front = 58.3, rear = 59.5, Ground clearance- 10.3 in, Approach angle- 44.9 deg., Breakover angle 33.9 deg., Color- White or Gray. Brand name or equal vehicle must meet required specifications. The result of this procurement will be a firm fixed price contract.
