- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement to purchase a quantity of one (1) three-dimensional laser-doppler velocimeter with an optional mechanical 3-D computer controlled traverse. The laser doppler system must be able to measure three-components of velocity in water and air flows. The system should employ submersible fiber optic probes for placement of laser beams, and be capable of doing LDV (Laser Doppler Velocimetry) and PDPA (Phase Doppler Particle Analysis) for simultaneous particle velocity and size determination. The system should incorporate some methodology for including other external data into the LDV data string. All hardware and software for LDV and PDPA applications shall be included. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Lakewood, CO. It is anticipated that the RFQ (05CRQQ0190) will be available on or before August 1, 2005 at the following web address: http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
