Description

Provide all plant, labor, tools, materials, equipment, supervision and essentials to furnish and install (4) four contractor furnished automatic bi-parting sliding door packages at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center, Bay Pines, Florida, Bldg 100. To include: motion detectors, safety devices, ?" tempered glass, bronze anodized medium stiles and electric locks. All equipment and hardware shall be installed in accordance with all building and ADA codes. Contractor shall perform all necessary demolition to remove the existing doors and associated hardware. The contractor shall stabilize all areas where the removal of the doors may cause the existing structure to become weakened, ie: transoms above the doors. Performance period is 120 days after Notice to Proceed. Cost Ranges is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS Code is 238290 and the size standard is $12.0 million. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. Bid packages will be available on or about July 20, 2005. Bid opening is August 23, 2005 at 2:00PM EST in the A&MMS Conference Room, Building 22, Room 411, Bay Pines, FL 33744. All requests for solicitation documents must be submitted in writing.
