Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to announce that the 42d Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 will be issuing a Two-Step Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Upgrade and Renovation of the Integrated Audio-Visual (AV) Equipment in Air Force Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (AFSNCOA) Auditorium on Maxwell AFB ? Gunter Annex, AL. The Two-Step RFP will be solicited and awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12, 13, 14, and 15. This synopsis does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government shall not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of information or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this notice. The requirement will be 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512 and the small business size standard is $21,000,000. A Letter Request for Technical Proposals (Unpriced) will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), FedBizOps (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about (20 July 2005) the request can be accessed by following the links on the website by following the DoD (Department of Defense), Department of the Air Force (USAF), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), and Maxwell AFB Contracting. Once the synopsis is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates and/or amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) this can be accomplished via the web @ http://www.ccr.gov.
