Description

The project consists of new work dredging of the Atlantic Ocean Channel portion of Norfolk Harbor to a required depth of 53 feet MLLW (NOS) with 1 foot of allowable overdepth. All work shall be performed by hopper dredge method. The Contractor shall place the dredged material in the Dam Neck Dredged Material Management Area, a straight-line haul distance of approximately 7 miles. Including allowable overdepth dredging and accretion, the project involves dredging approximately 1,066,500 cubic yards of material. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. Applicable NAICS code is 237990, with a size standard of $17.2 million. The solicitation will be available on the Internet only. No paper copies or CDs will be issued.
