Description
Description: The Army Space Program Office, Army Engineer Research and Development Center Topographic Engineering Center (ERDC-TEC) intends to award an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the operation, maintenance, and enhan cements of installed Interactive Training Tool (ITT) software at various DoD and National sites. Over the course of the contract, the contractor shall provide software improvements, resolve approved software problem reports in the fielded product, maintai n currency with evolving operating systems, maintain ITT icon and help files, provide technical support as required by the Government, provide help desk services for users, and provide courseware help and icon database maintenance service. Cost-plus-fixed -fee (CPFF) task orders will be issued under the resulting contract. This type contract provides for filling actual requirements for supplies or services during a specified contract period, with deliveries or performance to be scheduled by placing orders with the contractor. Over the life of the contract (base year and four one-year options) the maximum contract limit the Government expects to obligate is $1,800,000.00 and the minimum the Government expects to obligate is $75,000.00. This estimate is not a representation to the offeror that the estimated amount will be required or ordered, or that conditions affecting this requirement will be stable or normal. The resulting contract will consist of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The work to be accomplished for each task order will consist of one or more tasks. The contractor shall, upon receipt of an executed task order, perform all services required by the resulting contract and the task order. The resultant contract is UNCLAS SIFIED but the ITT software is classified SECRET. Working relations contain classified projects; therefore, contractor employees performing work associated with the resulting contract shall possess TOP SECRET SI/TK clearances. NAICS code is 541710. This requirement shall be awarded using full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about 1 August 2005. The anticipated contract s tart date is 30 September 2005.
