Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) firm-fixed price construction contract for the repair and rejuvenation of the Folsom South Canal Maintenance Road. Work is located approximately near the city of Folsom in Sacramento County. Principal features of the work include: 1) Excavation and fill, 2) Flexible pavement, 2 inch lift, 3) Asphalt Rejuvenating Seal: a) Crack preparation and sealing and b) Surface preparation and seal application. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Period of Performance is estimated to be 150 calendar days from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This requirement is a Full and Open Competition. NAICS Code is: 237310 and size standard is $28.5M. Solicitation 05SI201039 will be posted on the FEDBIZ OPS web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 4, 2005. The estimated date for receipt of bids is on or about Septermber 6, 2005. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings MUST be downloaded at the above site. You must register on the Bidder's Mailing List to receive the drawings. Click on the solicitation number and then select the "Vendor Interest" tab taking the following steps: 1) click on the Vendor Interest Tab; 2) enter DUNS number; and 3) enter Password or Tax Identification Number. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Annual Representations and Certifications, as required by FAR 4.1102, applied to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award.
