Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Regional GIO, plans to make a non-competitive award via written request for quotation No. 05ER36-No Solicitation number to West Virginia Statewide Addressing and Mapping Board (WVSAMB) to provide current, accurate, high resolution digital elevation data for the State of West Virginia. The statewide high resolution mass points and break lines produced by the WVSAMB mapping program will be the source base for populating the USGS National Elevation Dataset (NED), which is the elevation component of The National Map. The WVSAMB is the only known source that can provide the required statewide digital elevation data at this. There are no other known sources currently possessing data that are statewide, and are this current, or at this resolution U.S. Geological Survey anticipates awarding this to West Virginia Statewide Addressing and Mapping Board (WVSAMB) Charleston, WV. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The anticipated award date is 07/25/2005 Delivery is required by 07/25/2005. NAICS is 323115 . Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Determination to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice must be submitted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
