Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to establish an IDIQ contract with a three year ordering period with Everest VIT for the procurement of forty (40) PXLM620DSYS video borescope systems along with forty (40 each) 3.9 mm, 6.1 mm, and 8.4 mm video probes and accessories. This equipment will be used to perform safety of flight inspections on the AV-8B Harrier?s F402-RR-408A/B Engine?s, the GTS/APU engine starter and for various Airframe applications. This system will be used for making critical judgments by video, featuring defect measurement capability and locating and extracting FOD. This equipment is required for 30 and 60-hour inspections for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. It is also contemplated that the forty (40) existing 6mm Video Probe Systems (XLM620BSYS) including (40) image savers (IS100S) will be traded in. See note 22.
