Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2., Webster Field St. Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with Crystal Group Incorporated, 850 Kacena Rd., Hiawatha, IA 52233-1204 to supply four (4) CSR 1300 1U Ruggedized Rackmount Computers for the EC3 project. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services or supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. Crystal retains full rights in technical data for the design and development of the required computer system; therefore no other company can supply the required equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary date in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
