Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2., Webster Field St. Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with Arnold Magnetics Corporation, 841 Avenida Acaso, Camarillo, CA 93012 to supply power supplies for the Common Transponder Program. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services or supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. The required power supplies must meet all of the requirements of MIL-STDs 810E Environmental Test Methods and Engineering Guidelines, 901B Shock Tests H.I (High-Impact) Shipboard Machinery, Equipment, and Systems and 167-1 Mechanical Vibrations of Shipboard Equipment and meet the following mandatory requirements of: 92 to 138 VAC/Single Phase/47-63 Hz input, 28VDC @ 7.2 amps output, 0.1% from low line to high line regulation, 0.1% load regulation and short circuit output protection with auto recovery. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary date in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
