Description
This announcement consistutes re-issuance of USCG RFP HSCG38-04-R-H00003, which was cancelled on 29 September 2004. The Coast Guard seeks to award one contract for the procurement of overhaul services for HC130 Propeller assemblies, including individual blades. Anticipated period of performance shall be for a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods, not to exceed a total of five years. Components and estimated annual quantities wil be specified in the solicitation. Overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with U.S. Air Force Technical Order 3H1-18-3 and Hamilton Sundstrand Service Bulletins ASB 54H60-61-A134 and A132. The Coast Guard does not own nor can it provide drawings or specifications for these items. This requirement will be satisfied using commercial item acquisition procedures specified in FAR Part 12. Offerors must possess a current OEM certification or U.S. Air Force certification to perform overhaul and service on the items listed above and must provide proof of these certifications with the proposal. Offerors lacking either of these certifications must provide proof of a subcontracting agreement with an approved source with their proposal. Offerors must possess the capability to perform complete propeller assembly overhaul which includes a complete overhaul of the individual blades. The solicitation will be issued on or about 29 October 2004. Offerors responding to the original RFP will automatically receive the revised RFP when it is issued. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-OCT-2004).
