- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Institutional Procurement Office is releasing a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Achievement of Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Diversity Outreach and Education Grant. On or about April 29, 2005, this BAA will be available electronically through the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) site, located at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/nais/index.cgi . "Participation is open to Minority Serving Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges or Universities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, Primary and Secondary schools with a significant number of underserved students and non-profit educational organizations which target underserved students. Eligible applicants must be located within the following eight state region: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, and New Mexico. "Proposal due date is May 31, 2005. The electronic submission of each proposal's Cover Page/Proposal Summary/Budget Summary is required by the due date for proposal submission. This solicitation leading to the award of a Grant is issued pursuant to title 14 CFR Part 1260 for educational and nonprofit institutions. Notwithstanding the posting of this opportunity at FedBizOpps.gov, Grants.gov, or at both sites, NASA reserves the right to determine the appropriate award instrument for each proposal selected pursuant to this announcement.
