Contracting Office Address U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Acquisition Management Division (MC-MBA), 400 Seventh Street, SW Room 0302A, Washington, DC 20590-0001 Description The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Acquisition Management Division (FMCSA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Beau Rivage Hotel for lodging during the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) conference which addresses motor carrier regulatory issues to be held in Biloxi, Mississippi September 24-29, 2005 for 75 FMCSA attendees. The conference is held onsite and no other suitable accommodations are available within 3.5 miles of the conference location. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been approved for the procurement. The Acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North Atlantic Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721110 Hotels, Size Standard $6,000,000. The Government anticipates the award of a firm fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. All respondents will be considered by the agency. All communication concerning this announcement must be in writing and received by 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time no later than 7 calendar days after publication date of this notice to the Contracting Officer listed below. No solicitation is available. Closing date is July 29, 2005.
