Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a Stewardship Contracting north of Lee Vining, California. The purpose of this contract is to provide services for restoration of aspen stands and treatment of hazardous fuels (pinyon pine) in the vicinity of Virginia Creek. Note: All merchantable material to be removed will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer values This will help reduce the risk of catastrophic fire, insect, and disease outbreaks. This includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. The period of performance will begin on or about August 22, 2005 and continue to approximately October 5, 2005, (45 days) This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 115310. A pre-proposal site tour has been scheduled for July 27, 2005 at 9:00 a m. Participants meet at: Intersection of U.S. Highway 395 and Virginia Creek Road, approx. 12 miles north of Lee Vining, California. Offerors intending to attend the site visit tour should contact Dale Johnson (760) 872-5055 at least 48 hours before the scheduled site visit and advise him of the firms name.
