- This requirement is in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation N00253-05-T-0056. NUWC is contemplating award on a sole source purchase order to manufacturer Teledesign Systems Inc pursuant to 10 USC 2304(1) as implement by FAR 6.302-1. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporated the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Federal Circulars 2005-04. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334220 and has a size standard of 500 for the following: CLIN 0001: Modem, Radio, 400mhz, Part Number TS4000.05B41WTB, with user manual and co! nfiguration software, 17 each. CLIN 0002: Cable Assembly, watertight interface, Part Number TS0360AGU, 17 each. CLIN 0003: Modem RF, 400mhz, with watertight case and manual, configuration software, P/N TS4000.05B41WTB, 38 each with an option quantity of up to 20 each. Option quantity to be exercised within 360 days after contract award. CLIN 0004: Cable Assembly, watertight interface, P/N TS0360AGU, 38 each with an option quantity of up to 20 each. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 7 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
