Description

The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price type contract for High Capacity Strong Base Anion Exchange Resin as required by the Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, VA. The resin for demineralization processing shall meet the following specification: OH-Form Minimum total exchange capacity equivalent of 1.0 Minimum total exchange capacity of 21.9 KGR/FT3 Water Content of 60% to 72% Uniformity Coefficient 1.1 Maximum Whole un-cracked beads 95-100% Mean Particle size 610+/-50 UM Particle size G/ML 1.03 This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 424690. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at FISC Norfolk Website: http://www.nor.fisc.navy.mil/contracts/solicitations/default.htm or http://www.neco.navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the government. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
