- Description in English The Inter-American Foundation (IAF), through the Department of Treasury, Bureau of Public Debt, intends to issue indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts in a number of countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, providing for time-and-materials and fixed-price orders to obtain grant auditing services. Grant activity is currently underway in the following countries: Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, Guatemala, Brazil, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. The Grant Auditors must have a full time in-country physical presence except in the Caribbean, where they must be in a reasonable travel distance. The Grant Auditor shall perform the following tasks; conduct audits in accordance with the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), the generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and the Foundation?s Audit Manual; observe and analyze project activities during audits and report recommendations to the Foundation?s Auditor; conduct orientation/initial assessments of grantees; retain audit reports and work papers; participate in hemispheric meetings and participate in external quality control reviews. The contractor must possess the ability to communicate orally and in writing in Spanish. The contractor must have access to a computer and the Internet and be proficient in, and have substantial experience using a standard office software suite such as Microsoft Word and Excel. The contract will be for a base period and four one-year option periods. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Descripcion en Espa?ol La Fundacion Interamericana (IAF), a traves de la Oficina de la Deuda Publica (BPD) del Departamento del Tesoro, tiene intencion realizar contratos abiertos o de entrega indefinida/cantidad indefinida en varios paises de America Latina y el Caribe para ordenes de los tipos ?tiempo y materiales? y ?precio fijo? para obtener servicios de auditoria de donaciones. Actualmente hay donaciones activas de la IAF en los siguientes paises: Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panam?, Guatemala, Brasil, Haiti, Republica Dominicana, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay y Venezuela. Los Auditores de Donaciones deben tener presencia a tiempo completo en el pais, excepto en El Caribe, de donde deben residir a una distancia razonable. El Auditor de Donaciones realizara las siguientes tareas: auditorias de acuerdo con los Estandares Generalmente Aceptados de Auditoria del Gobierno (GAGAS, por sus siglas en ingl?s), los Estandares de Auditoria Generalmente Aceptados (GAAS), y el Manual de Auditoria de la IAF; observar y analizar las actividades de proyectos durante las auditorias y presentar recomendaciones al Auditor de la Fundacion; realizar evaluaciones de orientacion/iniciales de donatarios; conservar informes de auditoria y documentos de trabajo; participar en reuniones hemisfericas y en revisiones externas de control de calidad. El contratista debe poder comunicarse oralmente y por escrito en espa?ol. El contratista debe tener acceso a una computadora y a Internet y debera ser competente y tener una experiencia substancial en el uso de programas de computacion tipicos de oficina tales como Microsoft Word y Excel. El contrato sera por un per?odo base y cuatro periodos opcionales de un ano.
