Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to complete the project as required by the specifications and drawings. Work includes the remodeling of approximately 5,560 SF on the 3rd floor of Building #1 to provide a new Interventional Cardiology Suite. The Suite will include two Cath Lab Rooms, Pre-Op/Post-Op Recovery, and Support spaces. The project includes Work on the occupied 2nd Floor for structural and mechanical/electrical modifications, as well as work on the Basement Floor, and site work for utility upgrades, and functional area relocation. Electronic copies of the contract specifications and drawings may be obtained free of charge via www.fedbizopps.gov Requests for hard copy solicitation documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer, and accompanied by a non-refundable check for $150.00 made out to the Department of Veteran Affairs. Only one(1) request for hard copy will be honored per contractor. There are only a limited number of hardcopies available. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. The drawings are in PDF format and can be opened using Adobe Acrobat. Amendments issued for this solicitation will only be available on the VA Business Opportunity Website; no hard copies' will be mailed out. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Solicitation documents will be available on or about August 8, 2005. A pre-bid is scheduled for August 19, 2005 at 10:00 AM, Department of Veteran Affairs Kansas City, MO. The cost range for this project is $1.0 Million to $2.0 Million. The North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220. No electronic offers will be accepted. Award is subject to availability of funds.
