- Description
- ACA, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington is soliciting proposals for Medical Courier Services for Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC). The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, parts and other items and services necessary to perform medical courier services between MAMC at Fort Lewis, WA, and various referenced laboratories located in the areas between Olympia and Seattle, WA. Services shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of the solicitation. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed-price requirements-type contract. The period of performance is tentatively set for 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006, plus four one-year option periods. This procurement is set-asid e for small business. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is W911S8-05-R-0044. The applicable NAICS code is 492110 and the small business size standard is 1500 employees. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. All requests for the solicitation must be emailed to mark.a.erickson@lewis.army.mil, along with the requesting vendors Dun & Bradstreet number and CAGE Code. When issued, the solicitation will be available only by downloading from our web site at http://www.lewis.army.mil/do c under Solicitations, after the estimated date of release. The estimated issue date is 12 August 2005 and the anticipated closing date is 12 September 2005. After release of the solicitation a pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 25 August 2005 at 10:00:00 AM (PDT). Prospective offerors are advised to refer to the solicitation for final time of pre-proposal conference. Prospective offerors are further urged to attend and submit any questions they may have in advance in writing to Mark Eri ckson at the following email: mark.a.erickson@lewis.army.mil. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure registration in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to s ubmission of offers for consideration.
